SAN JOSE, Calif. — PayPal has announced that it will be integrated as a payment option on the Subway restaurants’ mobile app before the end of the year.
The mobile app, which is available for Apple and Android devices, allows U.S. customers to “save time and skip the line” by pre-ordering and picking up meals at participating Subway locations.
Through the app, Subway guests will have the option to use PayPal to pay in-store or as part of a mobile order. PayPal will also become a payment choice for online orders on order.subway.com.
PayPal’s one touch checkout will also be available on these platforms, giving consumers to option to pay with a single touch after opting in to the feature.
