It’s no surprise that sugar is a favourite ingredient in a lot of indulgent fare, but that’s not the only thing that’s attracting North Americans to such rich foods. It turns out a dash of sugar, a pinch of fat and a sprinkling of salt go a long way to offering the perfect blissful snack that attracts us and keeps us coming back for more.
