TORONTO — A new location of The Rec Room has opened in Winnipeg. Located off Sterling Lyon Parkway, the new complex spans over 42,000 sq. ft. and offers food, live entertainment, amusement-gaming experiences and feature attractions all under one roof. The Rec Room at Seasons is the first location to open in Manitoba and features six lanes of luxury bowling, bar games such as ping pong and pool, as well as the latest in virtual-reality experiences from VRstudios.
The Rec Room features multiple dining options, including the upscale casual-dining area, Three10, which features a menu of Insta-worthy shareables and handcrafted dishes. A quick-service-dining section, called The Shed, features premium poutines, savoury snacks and handhelds and a selection of made-to-order funnel cakes. The Rec Room also features a huge bar where sports fans can choose from 16 draught beers, including local options.
Cineplex currently operates seven other locations of The Rec Room in South, Calgary, Toronto, London, Ont., Mississauga, Ont. and St. John’s, N.L. It has also announced plans for complexes in Burnaby, B.C., Barrie, Ont., Vancouver and Montreal.
