TORONTO — The steady growth of restaurants in Toronto’s Parkdale neighbourhood is a point of contention for city representatives and restaurant owners, so the subject will undergo mediation to determine how to deal with a proposed cap on restaurants in the area, reports thestar.com.
Restaurants comprise one in three establishments along Queen St. W. between Roncesvalles Ave. and Dufferin St., but Gord Perks, a city councilor, wants to bring that number down to one in four.
