KINGSTON, Ont. — Topper’s Pizza has opened a new location in Kingston, Ont. at 795 Blackburn Mews. Ali Khalid is the new Kingston, Ont. franchisee.

The Topper’s Pizza story began in 1904 when Giuseppe (Jazz) Toppazzini travelled from San Daniele, Italy to Cooper Cliff, Ont. It was there that he opened a bakery. Decades later, Jazz’s grandson, Ron, had the inspiration to use the dough to make the perfect pizza crust and Topper’s Pizza was born. Since that time, the chain has expanded to 38 locations across Ontario.
Additionally, Topper’s (Sudbury) Inc. established its first corporate pizzeria in 1982 in Sudbury, Ont. As of 2023, it holds seven corporate pizzerias and a Customer Care Centre.
