Trading a Restaurant for Limerick

GIBSONS, B.C. — Three hundred dollars could be the only start-up cost necessary to take over the B.C.-based Benjamin’s International Café, as the retiring owners are giving the establishment away in a contest.

Nicole Josh and Robert Kirsch are preparing to sell their restaurant to the person who writes the best five-line limerick.

And, at $300 for up to 1,000 entries, the owners stand to earn up to $300,000 for the booming business, which is worth about $250,000.

For more details on the contest, which ends Nov. 30, visit the restaurant’s Facebook page.
