BURLINGTON, Ont. — Tortoise Restaurant Group Inc.’s Turtle Jack’s Muskoka Grill has announced it will unveil 16 new menu items at its restaurants ahead of the opening of three new locations in Ontario this year.
With new units opening in Toronto, Hamilton and Mississauga, the refreshed menu includes appetizers, sandwiches, burgers and main dishes, such as the Gyoza shrimp dumplings, garden burger and pesto-and-goat-cheese chicken.
“Adding new items to our menu gives us the opportunity to reinvent comfort foods that are often enjoyed at the cottage. We’ve taken our fresh, local ingredients and created new cottage favourites like our Hunter’s Chicken,” says Michael Vogt, executive chef with Tortoise Restaurant Group.
The new menu will be paired with the brand’s fall-inspired seasonal cocktail menu. The restaurant group will also introduce a gluten-free menu that will rollout out this year, as well as in new locations slated to open in 2019.
