SIDNEY, B.C. — Victoria Distillery has launched the Empress 1908 Gin in honour of the Fairmont Empress Hotel in downtown Victoria, B.C.
The Empress 1908 Gin is made with eight unique botanicals: juniper, rose, coriander seed, grapefruit peel, ginger root, cinnamon bark and the Fairmont Empress proprietary tea blend. Its distinct indigo-blue colour is created by the infusion of butterfly pea blossoms. When combined with citrus or tonic, the gin transforms in colour to a soft pink.
