PASADENA, Calif. — Wetzel’s Pretzels has signed an agreement to expand the brand across Canada through an agreement with franchisee Cory Reddekopp. Reddekopp will focus on developing Wetzel’s Pretzels locations across Alberta and British Columbia.
Currently, Wetzel’s has two existing Canadian locations in Alberta’s West Edmonton Mall and Reddekopp expects to open two new stores in 2017.
“I believe the opportunity to grow the Wetzel’s Pretzels brand in Canada is tremendous and far exceeds the initial eight stores I plan to open. I am actively seeking operating partners to help develop additional Wetzel’s Pretzels stores across Canada,” says Reddekopp.
Each of the brand’s forthcoming Canadian locations will offer all of Wetzel’s Pretzels’ most popular menu items, including the company’s full line of pretzels, Wetzel Dogs, Bitz and fresh and frozen lemonade.
