VANCOUVER — More than 300 exhibitors will be touting their wares at this year’s B.C Foodservice Expo, which runs from Sunday, Jan. 29 to Monday, Jan. 30 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

Returning this year is the annual Trends Breakfast speakers series — a networking breakfast forum for industry professionals. This time, Michael Whiteman, president of the restaurant consulting company Baum and Whiteman and Robert Carter, executive director with The NPD Group, will lead the forum discussion entitled, “When World Flavours Collide.”

Other event highlights include The B.C. Chef of the Year Roasted Competition and the crowning of a new B.C. Chinese Chef of the Year. Meanwhile, new to the expo is the appointment of chef David Adjey as “roving food ambassador.”
