SASKATOON ― Chef Dale MacKay, owner of Saskatoon’s Ayden Kitchen & Bar, has ventured into the pizza business. Home Slice Pizza Shoppe opens at 227 Pinehouse Dr. in the same city on Wednesday.
Customers can build custom pies or select from the menu, which features Meatball pizza ($24 for 12”), Potato Pie ($26 for 12”), Moroccan pizza ($26 for 12”) and Surf and Turf pizza ($26 for 12”). Accompaniments include chicken wings, dipping sauces and salads such as chickpea and quinoa.
The restaurant will be open seven days a week, offering take-out and delivery service to customers living in Lawson Heights and surrounding areas.
