TORONTO — Salad King restaurant has launched its Hot Rod Food Truck as part of a series of promotions and festivities celebrating 25 years of serving Thai food in Toronto.
Operating in partnership with FeasTO — winners of Food Network’s Food Truck Face Off — the Salad King Hot Rod will tour the Greater Toronto Area from August 24 until September 18, hitting up events such as the CNE and Richmond Hill Food Truck Fest.
Proceeds from the truck will be donated to Second Harvest, with a committed minimum of $10,000. During the 25-day celebration, Salad King’s food ordering/delivery partners, Ritual and Foodora, will also help support Second Harvest, each donating $1 for every Salad King order received during the specified dates.
