TORONTO — The Ben & Florentine chain of restaurants is set to expand into Ontario.
The Quebec-based chain has hired David Newcombe, president of Newcombe Search Group, to coordinate and support the development of the Ben & Florentine breakfast chain in Ontario.
Newcombe has been a senior executive with many franchised QSR brands across Canada for the past 35 years and will work with Lorne Casoff, president, on franchise recruitment and site selection.
Initial development will take place throughout the Golden Horseshoe and the Golden Triangle with an objective of opening 15 restaurants by 2017.
