TORONTO — Burger King is expanding its classic poutine offering.
“We see an opportunity to become the destination for Canada’s favourite dish by reaching the growing demographic of poutine lovers,” said Cameron Loopstra, senior marketing manager for Burger King Restaurants of Canada, of the brand’s new Angry Poutine and Poutine with Bacon.
Taking its name from the chain’s successful Angry Whopper, Angry Poutine is classic poutine with jalapeño peppers, crispy onions and BK’s signature sauce.
The two new poutine dishes are available for a limited time at participating Burger King restaurants across the country.
