CALGARY — Chopstix Filipino Restaurant in southeast Calgary is one of the latest restaurants to purchase a robot server from Greenco Robots as a solution to staffing challenges during the pandemic.
Jason Gold, an Edmonton-based business manager with Greenco Robots told Global News that his company has now placed roughly 400 robots at restaurants across Canada. The robots, known as BellaBots or simply Bella, feature a cat-like design. Food orders are taken and prepared normally, but Bella can help run the orders from the kitchen to the table.
