OTTAWA — Chick-fil-A is opening its newest restaurant on January 9 in Ottawa. Chick-fil-A Rideau Centre is located in the CF Rideau Centre Food Court at 50 Rideau Street.
Locally owned and operated by Hussein Tohme, Chick-fil-A Rideau Centre will be the second Chick-fil-A in Ottawa. The new restaurant will employ approximately 70 to 100 full- and part-time team members.
In honour of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A will donate about $34,000 to a local non-profit organization through Second harvest. Tohme’s restaurant will also be participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, an initiative that re-directs surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelters, food banks and non-profits in need.
