TORONTO — Technology and restaurant delivery startup DoorDash is offering on-demand delivery from more than 100 of Toronto’s most popular restaurants.
At launch, the DoorDash app will offer delivery across downtown Toronto, including Liberty Village, King and Queen West, the Financial District, The Annex and Little Italy — with typical delivery times under 45 minutes. Over the coming months, the company plans to expand its footprint to cover additional neighbourhoods in the area. Participating restaurants currently include Insomnia, Loaded Pierogi, Signs and Barque.
Toronto is DoorDash’s 20th major metropolitan market and its first city outside of the U.S. The company plans to expand across Canada, beginning with Vancouver later this year.
