TORONTO — Mobile meal delivery app, Feast, has introduced its new culinary team of Trish Magwood, Hassel Aviles and Curt Martin. They will be designing lunch and dinner menus that include healthy, locally sourced and tasty meals.

“Having this trifecta of industry talent is huge for Feast,” says Feast CEO Steve Harmer. “We are going to provide amazing alternatives to home and work-dining options with technology making the process simple and easy.  Our vision for healthier meals is inspired by seasonally relevant and local ingredients and will transform how people think of delivery food.”

Set to launch in November 2015, Feast will allow customers to choose on-demand delivery, which arrives in 15 to 30 minutes, or schedule delivery in advance on iOS and Android devices. Meals are delivered by cargo bike or electric car and a text notifies people a few minutes before their orders arrives.

“Creating a new type of restaurant offering is an amazing opportunity,” says Magwood, SVP Food Experience for Feast. “We are designing a premium food experience that people can enjoy in their home and workplace, delivering inspiring and adventurous dishes in a few taps on their phone.”

Feast recently set up its first kitchen in the Corktown area of Toronto, former stomping grounds of Jamie Kennedy who is a big supporter of Feast and their approach to meal delivery. “Feast resonates with my own core values in hospitality,” says Kennedy. “I can’t wait to see how their own wonderful addition to dining in Toronto will evolve.”
