Flanagan Foodservice, the largest Canadian family-owned independent foodservice distributor, has unveiled a new logo to go along with innovative changes to its company vision, mission, values, and tagline.
The new modernized logo was strategically developed by Flanagan leaders to embrace the Flanagan family traditions, their company strengths, and the evolving business environment of today, while always keeping their customers first. The organization’s continued growth and increased recognition as a leader in the industry was the changing point for the re-branding.
The new tagline ‘The Difference You Deserve’ was developed from employee suggestions. It highlights the positive differences that Flanagan’s brings to all their business relationships.
“The company has grown so much over the years. It’s much more complex”, explained Flanagan’s president Dan Flanagan. “We needed an image that makes us stand out and clearly communicates where we’ve come from and what we’re all about today.”
When talking about the new branding, Dan explained “Service is the most important thing we do so it is front and centre in our new vision and mission. It’s our service, and the value it brings, that is going to differentiate us and help us continue to grow as a company because we’re focused on helping the customer. From customer feedback, we determined they deemed us to be the best when it comes to our flexibility. Being more agile and responsive to our customer needs is a key to our past and future success”
Flanagan’s new values are the essence of what the company stands for:
- service excellence
- teamwork,
- inclusive family spirit,
- continuous improvement,
- community builders.
The new image is reflected on the revamped website which includes features such as an extensive recipe section, industry articles, recall notices and connects users to the company’s social media outlets.
Flanagan says, “As our team members continue to live out our new mission, vision, and values, Flanagan’s will become a very exciting place to work; and for foodservice operators, it will be the go-to business for superior service, value, and flexibility”.
