VANCOUVER — Food and film will merge at the Feast: Doxa Gala Fundraiser on Nov. 5 at Vancouver’s Roundhouse Community Centre.
The evening, hosted by CBC Radio’s Lisa Christiansen, will feature chefs serving film-related treats while guests watch food-themed documentaries. Docs on the bill include Ingredients, Smoking Fish and A Matter of Taste: Serving Up Paul Liebrandt.A silent auction will round out the evening with artwork, gift certificates and other goodies up for bid.
Doxa is presented by the Documentary Media Society, a Vancouver-based non-profit, charitable society devoted to presenting independent and innovative documentaries.
