TORONTO — It’s used in almost every dish, so it’s no surprise garlic is getting its own Toronto festival.
The first annual Toronto Garlic Festival is kicking off at the Evergreen Brick Works Sept. 25, offering a look at almost everything there is to know about garlic.Attendees will be treated to garlic cooking demonstrations, discussions on topics such as the history of garlic, tips on growing garlic in the city and a chance to meet Ontario farmers.
Admission is $5, and children under 12 are admitted free.
