Foodservice operators will have a unique opportunity to take in the HORMEL® BACON 1™ Sliced Bacon experience at Restaurants Canada’s 2024 RC Show, being held April 8 to 10 at the Enercare Centre in Toronto. Chef D and the team will be on hand to answer questions, offer samples, compare notes, and demonstrate innovative applications.

“We are looking forward to showing off the product in its plain and beautiful way,” says Chef D, who will be presenting cooking demonstrations throughout the day to showcase the versatility and ease of use of HORMEL® BACON 1™ Sliced Bacon. His repertoire includes his signature dates stuffed with parmesan wrapped in bacon. “That’s always our number-one product on customer orders,” he says.

He will also be featuring his take on bacon and onion focaccia bread and a bacon cheddar breakfast sandwich. “People will be able to see how easy it is to use the product and compare cook times,” he says.

Chef D points out that with kitchens getting smaller and smaller, HORMEL® BACON 1™ Sliced Bacon can always live up to the task. “You can do all of this in a small rapid cook oven.”
