TORONTO — Mandarin just earned some industry kudos from Humber College in the form of an Industry Strategic Partner Award, which was handed out last night to Tina Chiu, the chain’s COO.
The accolade recognizes “an established industry partner who has provided ongoing leadership at a strategic level of programming to the School of Hospitality, Recreation & Tourism.”
The award was handed out for the first time since 2006 and honours the chain, which has put $80,000 toward employee-student scholarships within its organization.
