Is H1N1 Back?

TORONTO – It looks like the anticipated second wave of the H1N1 has hit Ontario. According to a Toronto Star report, Dr. Donald Low, head of the public health laboratories with the Ontario Agency for Health Protection and Promotion, has seen an uptick in the number of emergency flu cases in the last few days, including six new confirmed cases of the H1N1 strain. Although further testing is needed to determine whether an increase in influenza A cases at provincial labs are products of the original H1N1 strain, Low expects they are.
