TORONTO — Lactalis Canada has appointed Nathalie Cusson to the position of general manager of its Fluid division. In her new role, Cusson will be responsible for overall long-term strategy, sales, marketing and retail partnerships, as well as Lactalis Canada’s expansion into the plant-based category.

Cusson boasts a 23-year tenure at Lactalis Canada, holding a significant number of sales roles. She most recently served as VP, Sales, Fluid division, where she led contract negotiations and contributed to driving Lactalis Canada’s commercial results through enhancements in the product mix, and collaborated on the development of Lactantia premium milk sales across all regions and business development.

“Nathalie has been integral to the success of our Fluid division and I’m confident that with her leadership and expertise, we will continue to drive our Fluid business forward,” says Mark Taylor, president and CEO, Lactalis Canada. “We are committed to the growth and development of our people and for me, Nathalie is a true example of someone who has had a progressive track record at Lactalis Canada starting out as a sales representative and now a member of Lactalis Canada’s executive team.”

“I’m thrilled to bring my sales experience and category expertise to this new leadership role at Lactalis Canada during a time when our Fluid business is evolving and the needs of our customers and consumers are also evolving,” says Cusson.

Cusson has replaced Vincent Metz, who has been promoted to the role of VP of Marketing for Lactalis Americas, while David Gillespie will assume Cussons’ former role as VP, Sales, Fluid division at Lactalis Canada.
