MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — The Ontario Restaurant Hotel Motel Association (ORHMA) has been advocating for the improved pricing of beer through alternative distribution focusing on LCBO. The organization’s discussions have led to a win as LCBO will be the exclusive wholesaler for all retail, bars and restaurants selling alcohol and will offer consumers an extensive array of choices, including domestic and imported products.
“Although modernization includes the availability of beer and wine at corner stores, which was a government campaign promise, we’re mining through the details,” said the organization in a statement. “We’ve tabled further favourable announcements for Ontario’s hospitality industry and are hoping to hear positive announcements in the near future.”
