Mad Radish Opens First Toronto Franchise Location

TORONTO — Mad Radish has opened its fourth location in Toronto, marking the brand’s first franchised location in the city.

“We’re thrilled to open our first Toronto franchise location in the heart of the financial district,” says Adam Tomczyk, CEO and co-founder of Mad Radish. “And, thanks to the incredible lessons we’ve learned operating our successful corporate stores these past seven years. We’re confident that our new franchisee is set up to thrive. We take our responsibility as a franchisor very seriously. Our experienced leadership team takes care of our franchise partners at every stage, from selecting prime sites, negotiating leases and overseeing buildouts, to implementing best-in-class operating practices. Our passion for the well-being of our customers, employees and franchisees is ingrained in our mission and we’re unwavering in our commitment to doing right by our communities and our partners.”

“I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved as a brand,” says co-founder Stephanie Howarth. “Our commitment to compostable packaging, responsible sourcing and inclusivity has always set Mad Radish apart. We realized that we were doing something really special and the best way to reach new communities was by engaging owner-operators who are as passionate about our values as we are.”

“I’ve enjoyed the hands-on support from the leadership team at Mad Radish,” says Davis Snider, franchisee of the new Toronto location. “Their expertise and guidance have been invaluable and I’ve been amazed by their ability to find big savings for me throughout the development process. I appreciate their careful approach to controlling costs while upholding high standards and I’m already looking forward to opening another location soon.”
