VANCOUVER — Chef Matthew Stowe has joined Joey Restaurant Group as executive director of Culinary, joining executive chef Chris Mills to oversee the company’s culinary direction.
“I’m very excited to have Matthew joining the Joey team,” says Mills. “Anytime you get to work with someone who is as passionate and skilled at the craft as Matthew is, the possibilities are endless. We look forward to continually elevating the experience for our customers.”
Mills and Stowe will be working closely on the culinary vision as the group continues to grow the brand, with their new flagship B.C. location in North Vancouver opening in 2019, as well as the company’s expansion into the California market with the opening of two new Los Angeles locations.
