Mövenpick Announces Licensing Partnership With Allseas Fisheries

Allseas Fisheries Corp. has signed an exclusive licensing agreement with the renowned Mövenpick Group from Switzerland to market premium smoked salmon products.

Allseas Fisheries Corp. will produce and market the Mövenpick branded smoked salmon line exclusively for the Canadian market as part of a licensing agreement between Canada’s leading fresh and frozen fish company, Allseas Fisheries and Mövenpick Fine Foods Ltd., the Swiss based premium food products company.

The aim of this new agreement is to produce and market premium smoked salmon products under the renowned brand «Mövenpick of Switzerland» through Allseas’ expansive distribution network in Canadian retail, club stores and food service markets. ‘We are excited to leverage Allseas’s extensive seafood expertise and impressive distribution capabilities to support this important product launch’ stated Guido Egli, CEO of Mövenpick Holding AG.

The new Mövenpick smoked salmon line will be launched in the spring of 2013.
