VICTORIA — Toptable Group has debuted its first restaurant in Victoria, Marilena Cafe & Raw Bar.
After more than a decade away honing his craft, executive chef Kristian Eligh returns to his hometown with a shared vision to create an approachable dining experience that celebrates timeless simplicity highlighting the very best of Vancouver Island.
Open for dinner daily from 4:30 p.m., Marilena’s menu draws inspiration from memorable west coast cuisine with an emphasis on locally and globally sourced seafood including raw bar selections led by chef Clark Park. Additionally, Marilena’s expansive wine list celebrates far-reaching varietals from notable regions while also honouring the island’s premiere wineries.
The service team, led by restaurant director Aaron Matsuzaki, is passionate about delivering an unparalleled level of hospitality set within Marilena’s warm, contemporary dining room designed with natural wood and marble.
