TORONTO — The Origin restaurant that was located in Toronto’s Liberty Village has reportedly closed.
“Check out our original location @origintoronto or @originnorth,” tweeted a restaurant rep in replay to a frustrated Origin Liberty Village customer who was upset to hear about the closing.
Chef Claudio Aprile recently opened the third location of his Origin Toronto restaurant concept at Bayview and Sheppard; it’s still open as is the original location at the city’s King and Jarvis. According to GridTO, the chef is out of town and is unavailable for comment regarding the closure or future plans.
