MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Ozzy’s Burgers is opening a new location in Mississauga, Ont., near Square One Shopping Centre, in August.
The brand’s owners are also planning further expansion in the Greater Toronto Area. “We are planning to expand into Scarborough, Ont. in early 2020,” says TurgayKirbiyik, co-owner of Ozzy’s Burgers. “Our goal is to build our own distribution centre/commercial kitchen in mid-2020 and begin accepting franchise opportunities. [My partner, Ozgur] and I want to make sure we have our commercial kitchen ready before we take on franchisees.”
This is the brand’s third location to open in the GTA, following the original restaurant in December 2017 in Toronto and a second location in Vaughan, Ont. Since then, Ozzy’s has been featured in Toronto Life’s 2018 Burger Edition one of the city’s top-30 burger restaurants.
