P.E.I. Farmers Expect Early Harvest

CHARLOTTETOWN — According to a recent article in CBC News, Prince Edward Island farmers are hopeful that an early harvest is en route, thanks to this year’s good weather.

Wet crops can be a challenge to harvest, so farmers are pleased with this year’s dryer climate. “The heat of the last little while has really brought the crops on and harvest has started,” Doon Pauly, provincial field crop development officer, told the CBC.
