SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The influx of American imports continues with news that P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Inc., has announced a long-term licensing agreement with Interaction Asian Restaurants L.P. to develop and operate P.F. Chang’s China Bistro in Canada with the first opening scheduled for 2012.
The agreement includes Manitoba, Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland. “We are delighted to bring P.F. Chang’s to Canada,” said Michael Aronovici, president of Interaction Asian Restaurants in a news release. “We believe customers in Canada will love the quality of the food and high-energy atmosphere P.F. Chang’s provides to its guests.”
The restaurant management and holding company Interaction Asian Restaurants, L.P. is controlled by its well-known, 20-plus-year industry veteran president Michael Aronovici. Aronovici currently serves as a member of the board of Prime Restaurants of Canada, Inc. and is a member of the Board of the Canadian Restaurant and Foodservices Association.
Parent company P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Inc. includes the casual-dining bistro P.F. Chang’s and fast-casual Pei Wei Asian Diner chain.
