MONTREAL — Old Montreal, Que.’s Le Happening Gourmand festival is set to begin next week.
Restaurant Week, as it’s also known, began in 2008 and kept in line with similar promotions in New York City and Toronto.
For $27 or less, the promotion offers reduced prices at seven restaurants between Jan. 9 and 3. Menu prices have been lowered approximately 30 per cent for Table D’hôte items, including a choice of two entrées, three mains and two desserts.
This year the participating restaurants are: Taverne Gaspar, Verses, Suite 701, Méchant Boeuf and Aix Cuisine du Terroir.
