EVANSTON, Ill. — Sammic has released a line of sous-vide cookers, including the Bluetooth-capable SmartVide8 Plus, which was recently chosen as one of NAFEM’s “What’s Hot! What’s Cool!” award winners.
The portable precision cooker boasts a built-in stirrer, precise temperature control, a 3.5” full-colour display and a complete warning system to alert users of lack of water, power outage or breakdowns. Recipes can also be programmed into the unit so that quality control can be maintained.
The SmartVide immersion circulators are user-friendly and portable. A system can be easily fitted into a standard gastronorm container of varying sizes. Maximum capacity: 56 litres/14 gal.
