EDMONTON — Six additional restaurants in Edmonton joined Mealshare this week, reports the Edmonton Journal.
Culina Mill Creek, North 53, Block 1912, Rosso Pizzeria, Dauphine Bakery and Knosh Food Truck are participating in the charitable program that provides meals to people in need. For every Mealshare-branded menu item purchased, a meal is donated to the Hope Mission or Save the Children.
To celebrate and raise awareness for the program, Mealshare co-owner Jeremy Bryant, along with staff from select Edmonton partner restaurants, are hosting a pancake breakfast in Churchill Square Friday, July 18 from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
There are 70 partner restaurants in Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver and Victoria, and Mealshare has provided more than 65,000 meals through its partner charities. For more information, visit mealshare.ca. [edmontonjournal.com]
