BURLINGTON, Ont. — Sodexo Canada donated its one-millionth lunch for underprivileged children at Trinity College in Toronto yesterday as part of its national Feeding Our Future program.
“Our foundation identified a need for kids’ lunches during the summer time and a hardworking team of Sodexo employees, volunteers and business partners have developed a program that is making a difference,” said Dean Johnson, president of Sodexo Canada.
“Feeding Our Future is about giving back to the communities where our employees live and work, and I’d like to thank everyone who has helped us achieve this tremendous milestone.”
Founded 13 years ago, the summer lunch program works in partnership with community hunger-relief organizations across Canada to provide free summer lunches to children in need.
