CALGARY — The Terroir Symposium is back for part two after a successful spring edition, bringing a culinary experience to Calgary on Nov. 2 to 3, 2024. This year’s theme, Nourishing the Future, promises to spark innovation, foster connections and explore the cutting-edge of food and beverage.

The fall program will feature a vibrant mix of panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and exclusive wine and spirits tastings led by global food-and-hospitality industry figures. Speakers include Mark Best, chef and TV personality; Bobby Cortez, chef and author; Maham Anjum, designer and potter; Jim Meehan, bartender, journalist, and author; François Chartier, aromas specialist and sommelier; Kiki Aranita, chef, journalist and entrepreneur; and Gabriel Rodriquez Osorno, winner of Top Chef Mexico season two.

“Alberta boasts a vibrant culinary and agricultural community with rich stories,” says Tannis Baker of Food Tourism Strategies and Terroir partner. “The emerging food-and-beverage scene is both dynamic and inventive, and we’re delighted to host of roster of global hospitality experts and stars at Terroir in Alberta.”

“Terroir is about igniting new ideas and fostering a sense of community. The real value lies in gathering together, building meaningful relationships, and creating the most effective networking opportunities for those dedicated to advancing their careers in hospitality,” says Arlene Stein, founder of Terroir Symposium.
