The five-digit donation is the culmination of a year of donating proceeds from the sale of the pizza chain’s house dip. All 35 Ontario locations participated in the fundraiser.
“The product was so popular that we exceeded our sales goals from the first year, leading to a much higher donation than anticipated. We couldn’t be happier,” said Keith Toppazzini, Topper’s president.
The money was presented to Canadian Cancer Society representative Francine Laroche and Mayor Jeff Lehman.
