Three western Canada hotels have been recognized by Condé Nast Traveler as the best in the world: British Columbia’s King Pacific Lodge (a Rosewood Resort), the Rocky Mountain Emerald Lake Lodge and the Wickaninnish Inn have all been voted among the very best.

This marks the second appearance in as many years for the King Pacific Lodge. According to Traveler readers, the property scores high because of among other things, “Spirit Bear” sightings, good food and welcoming staff.

The magazine also published a second list, featuring the 30 best places to stay in Canada (as picked by Condé Nast readers). The featured hotels include: Manoir Hovey in Quebec City; the Windsor Arms Hotel in Toronto and the Wedgwood Hotel & Spa in Vancouver.
