TORONTO — The team behind Vancouver’s award-winning Milano Coffee has opened Milano Espresso Bar in Toronto.
Located on 266 Adelaide St. W. in Toronto’s theatre district, it’s purported to be the only espresso tasting bar in the city. It offers espresso blends and single-origin coffee that has received global recognition and garnered six gold medals by Italy’s International Institute of Coffee Tasters for the best espresso.
“Milano has taken the Italian art form of espresso blending and taken it up about 10 notches to create something uniquely its own,” said co-owner Jerry Raso.
The espresso bar will feature outdoor seating during the summer and light meals, including artisanal pastries, soups and breakfast sandwiches.
