B.C. Foodservice Show Wraps

VANCOUVER — Foodservice professionals and restaurateurs gathered at the B.C. Foodservice Expo this past weekend at the Vancouver Convention Center to exchange ideas and glimpse new hospitality innovations.

Attendees were privy to lectures (such as the one by Dale Willerton, The Lease Coach, who offered leasing tips for restaurant operators); a Hot Competition featuring young chefs; new low-alcohol and no-alcohol beverages stirred up in the Mocktails area; and a variety of food offered at supplier booths. The green theme was also in play at the Centre for Sustainability, which showcased new energy- and water-saving technologies.

And, this year celebrity chef David Adjey was on hand to offer his expertise on restaurant design.
