EDMONTON — Booster Juice’s Customer Appreciation Day was a success, raising $50,000 for the Toronto-based Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).

Booster Juice’s CEO Dale Wishewan (right) presented a cheque to Barbara Armstrong, regional manager, JDRF-Northern & Central Alberta and NWT (left); and Patrick McCormack, JDRF chair of the Edmonton Chapter Leadership Board (middle). Funds go towards finding a cure for Type 1 diabetes, through research and advocacy, and help those living with the disease lead healthier lives.

The Edmonton-based company recently completed a fundraising blitz in May when it raised $65,000 for Easter Seals Canada. Those funds benefited Canadians with disabilities.
