JACKSON’sS POINT, Ont. — For the second consecutive year, The Briars Resort has received The 2009 Vintner’s Quality Alliance Restaurant Award of Excellence, from the Wine Council of Ontario, in recognition of exceptional VQA wine and culinary experience.
The historic resort boasts a wine list that features 60 per cent of some of the finest wines available in the province. “The Briars has a 160-year tradition of supporting local vinters and farmers, and so we are especially proud to receive the VQA award two years in a row,” said Sheila Maxwell, Briars director of Food and Beverage.
