VAUGHAN, Ont. — Members of Cara Operations’ board of directors and Mississauga mayor Bonnie Crombie celebrated the opening of a new East Side Mario’s restaurant at Dixie Ave. and Dundas St. in Mississauga, Ont. this week.

The 4,500-sq.-ft. location features the brand’s corporate prototype that hints at the future of the East Side Mario’s look and feel. “If you look around you will see it is an open design that allows energy to flow throughout,” says Rob Carmichael, VP of East Side Mario’s of the design that features bright pops of colour, wood and wall graphics. “I think you will agree it promotes energy and fun in a comfortable setting.” The menu features favourites such as Chicken Tetrazzini, Cheese Cappelletti and Chicken Parmigiana.

During the event, East Side Mario’s introduced a partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of Peel, as part of a Community Ambassador Program connecting the restaurant with local schools, businesses and organizations. “We are proud to name the Boys & Girls Club of Peel as our charity of choice. The work they do in our community is incredibly important and our fundraising efforts couldn’t go to a better local cause,” says Angela Newman, general manager.
