Chefs’ Table Society of BC Collaborates with 10 Restaurants to Celebrate Wild Salmon

VANCOUVER — Chefs’ Table Society of British Columbia (CTS) has unveiled a collaborative event with the BC Salmon Marketing Council and 10 restaurants to celebrate the rich heritage of wild B.C. salmon and promote sustainable fisheries. From October 27 to 29, the participating restaurants will feature their salmon dishes that showcase the region’s iconic seafood.

B.C.’s wild salmon is a culinary treasure and a cornerstone of the province’s culinary culture. This provincial celebration aims to honour the legacy of wild salmon and local fishers while raising awareness about the importance of sustainable fishing practices to protect this valuable resource for future generations.

“We are thrilled to partner with the Chefs’ Table Society of BC to celebrate wild BC salmon across the province,” says Lisa Simonson, a representative from the BC Salmon Marketing Council. “This event highlights the intersection of culinary excellence and environmental stewardship, emphasizing the importance of serving sustainable B.C. products.”
