OSHAWA, Ont. — Chick-fil-A has opened a new restaurant in Oshawa, Ont. Locally owned and operated by Matt Bizley, Chick-fil-A North Oshawa will be the chain’s 12th restaurant in Canada, employing approximately 100 full-time and part-time team members.
In honour of the new restaurant opening, Chick-fil-A is donating USD$25,000 to a local non-profit organization through Second Harvest. Since 2020, the company has donated more than USD$1 million to local hunger-relief organizations through Second Harvest.
Additionally, Bizley’s restaurant is participating in the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, an initiative that re-directs surplus food from the restaurant to local soup kitchens, shelter, food banks and non-profits in need.
