VANCOUVER — A fortunate few will gather at the Vancouver Aquarium today for the Second Annual Ocean Wise Seafood Chowder Chow-Down.
At the fun-filled event, some of the province’s top culinary talent, 10 chefs in all, will be preparing their own signature chowder, paired with a unique craft beer of their choice. The contestants will all have to create their variations, using certified Ocean Wise seafood, making their chowders not only delicious, but sustainable to boot.
The winner will be decided by a panel of judges, but attendees will be able to vote for the coveted people’s choice honours.
