Diner En Blanc Comes to Toronto

TORONTO — Dîner en Blanc, an infamous “secret” dinner party, is being held in Toronto at an as-yet-undisclosed public city space tomorrow, Aug.9

Dinner guests are invited by a diner from a previous event, or they can sign up to be on the waiting list. Guests are shuttled to the event where they must dress in white and bring tables and chairs.

The dining event began in Paris more than 25 years ago with friends and acquaintances of the founder, François Pasquier. It has grown internationally, with similar events in cities such as New York, San Francisco, Mexico City, Barcelona and Vancouver.
